Choo Choo!

Lately, Sam is obsessed more than ever with his train set. He has aquired various train sets with wooden magnetic trains that he can attach. He never gets tired of pulling them around the track. Daddy built lego bridges too!

I bought Sam several pots of playdoh and here is the result! Can you see the plane?

Bella loves bathtime :)

About 10am every morning is Bella's favourite time of the day....bathtime! I prepare a shallow bath in which she lies in flat on her back and splashes around non-stop. She'll be able to join Sam at the swimming baths in a couple of months too.

End of the freezing weather?

The snow has started to melt, leaving a slushy, muddy mess. We did manage to go out for a walk though around the village.

Oliver Jeffers' books

Sam has 3 of his books and loves them, especially the penguin. The illustrations are superb even for an adult.

Stuck inside...

It's been snowing for a few days and the roads are too icy to drive anywhere. The forecast is better for the week ahead which is just aswell, as we're getting cabin fever!

School holidays and more snow!

It's 1/2 term for 2 weeks and there is yet more snow! It's too cold to take the children out in the snow and the roads are too icy to drive anywhere....so, we're stuck in the house whilst daddy is working outside installing fencing for someone. Hopefully, next week will be warmer.

The beginning....

I'd rather think of this as a journal. Something I can update daily/weekly of what our little family get up to. Something that captures the special moments of the children. Something they can read when they're older. Something I can read to remember those special moments....so here goes!
