Paddling and Walking

It has been so hot that the paddling pool is a nice change for Sam to keep cool. He insists on being naked (doesn't want to get his swimming shorts wet!) so I have to cover him in factor 50.

We all went for a nice walk on a shaded track which leads to a river this morning.

This week we have been...

sailing on Lake Eguzon with Nanna and Grandad.

having a picnic and paddling for afters.

growing new teeth! Congratulations Bella on your first tooth today - bottom right.

watching Bella improving her motor skills with 100% determination...fascinating!

watching Sam singing and dancing away.

making chocolate mousse first thing in the morning with Sam.

Back to France

We had a great 2 weeks in the UK and spent time with family and close friends. We did loads of things - went to Ravensglass to take Sam on the Ratty steamtrain, attended Auntie Saranne's wedding (see Sam's outfit!), a day at the beach in Blackpool, had 2 paella's....and much more! Bella became much more steady sitting and moving around and Sam's english came on heaps and bounds.

We're over in the UK for 2 weeks staying with the grandparents. The weather is getting better and after all the excitement of auntie Saranne's wedding we're spending the rest of our stay relaxing.
