I put together a little nature hunt in the garden. Sam and I searched and found pine cones, feathers, daisies, chestnuts and apples. We laid everything out on the picnic table along with his drawing pad and crayons and began to attempt drawing them. A simple activity which kept him amused for an hour. The sketches on the other hand will last forever!

What a lovely idea! I will have to do this with my son when he is a little older. I love the things you have collected. :)
