Long weekend
This two year old seems to have suddenly grown. She seems so big! Or has Sam stopped growing for now? She no longer wants her highchair but likes to sit with us at the the table, drink from a cup, dress herself (amusing). I am a little nervous (understatement) of her falling off chairs, especially as she tries to copy everything her big brother does (who incidentally thinks he possesses superhero powers!)
It's been a busy weekend what with another birthday party and then playtime at his friends. I've been making my favourite Nigella muffins and I finally found a nice green tea from Limoges that is drinkable. I feel I am preparing to hibernate, except it's still 20 degrees in November.

I'm with ya with the hibernation issue. Crazy sunny warm weather at the moment. The sky is making up for the crappy summer we had. Love this sneak peek into your home. It feels so peaceful. Bonne semaine! xx
ReplyDeletemy 4 year old has super hero powers too!
ReplyDeleteDo tell: which muffins and green tea? I think that full head of curly, thick hair makes her look and seem older than she is. No?
ReplyDeletebig girl, indeed. A very cute one at that! Those muffins look delicious and LOVE your little rustic table! x
ReplyDeleteThey do grow up so fast don't they. I love the getting dressed by oneself faze and they don't want any help either, I really miss these times my girls are so big now:(. Your muffins looks very yummy too. I hope this weekend is nice and relaxing for you. xo

ReplyDeleteYep, from a stranger on the other side of the world perspective - knowing her only through photos - she has definately grown. It was the first thing I thought when I saw that photo of her on a chair!
ReplyDeleteOn another completely unrelated note - I see a pink teapot, a yellow teapot, and in an earlier post a blue one. Lovely little collection!!
The last shot here is just precious!
