A little of what I've been up to when I have a bit of time. I have a lot of fabric and a lot of cushion inserts. I made a start with some Orla Kiely fabric to make and then recovered an old canvas print with scraps of fabric.
My style is increasingly chintzy of late, which is just as well because I can make use of my vintage plate collection.
Thankyou to Kerry from Seventy Tree for awarding me the sunshine award :))
Nice thing to do!
ReplyDeletei love that orla kiely fabric and your chinzy style! : )
ReplyDeleteI love your plate wall - very nice. And I have that Orla Kiely print as a dress! x
ReplyDeleteHello! Just come across your blog via Lou. It's full of lovely pictures! Where in France are you? My Dads family are from Sancerre. Going to have a nosy around the rest of you blog now! x
ReplyDeleteLovely but the plate wall is to die for-Fab! Jo x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabric - Orla Kiely homewares make a recurring appearance in our house too.!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the plate wall idea. I am a few that I am itching to put up, I need to get Dan to agree to painting the dining room first. It badly needs it. I also go either chintzy or scandi modern.. mix of both. maybe that's what midcentry modern is, dunno! lou x
ReplyDeleteMy oldest childhood friend is also my closest today and her mother collected plates and displayed them on the wall. I see a collection and I'm full of sentiment - yours is lovely, Andrea x
ReplyDeleteGreat vintage plate collection! x
ReplyDeleteI love collecting plates (well, I love collecting things...) :) and I love the colors you picked. I'm composing a wall with white vintage plates, but I want to display my colorful ones too, just without driving the husband crazy! :)
