Sorry to bombard with photos, but I can't stop! There's so much going on in the garden and children up to all sorts - I want to capture it all!
I thought the haricot bean seeds were very pretty and Bella was hiding to avoid her afternoon nap. If she doesn't have a nap she is a bit of a nightmare later on to put it mildly.
I'm also making the most of the free fresh flowers every day. The peonies are out at the moment and smell divine!

Beautiful pictures, Andrea: I love that photo of kitchen top with the flowers and kettle. My little one can be a nightmare too if she doesn't sleep long enough in the afternoon.

So dreamy - I could just fall right into your pictures.
ReplyDeleteWe're at the stage where we try and avoid naps at any cost - the no bedtime payback is tenfold....then there's the knock on effect - 'phew'

those fresh flowers are gorgeous. it always makes me happy to glance at the table and see fresh blooms. enjoy!
ReplyDeleteNaps are so important for everyone. Both of mine gave up naps way too soon to my liking :/
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos! My little one starting dropping his afternoon naps a few months ago. Initially it was very stressful for me - as a stay at home mum I depend on those naps for a tea break :-) To cut a long story short we were advised to let him have 'quiet time'.
ReplyDeleteBasically put him down to nap but if he prefers to read, or play with toys quietly then he is allowed to (as long as he stays in his room!). And it works! Sometimes he even climbs into bed and goes to sleep! x
i don't think i could take a nap either in that beautiful setting. oh wait, who am i kidding? of course i could. but, not if i were bella. she's so cute in her red, white, and blue. love her dress and her hair is just perfect.
