We took a little trip a few hours South to Cahors in the Lot for my mum's 60th birthday. The weather was pretty dismal but we got about and had a nice time. Cahors is a small but lovely city with quirky buildings and beautiful architecture. Sam and Bella were super happy to be away with us all.
I love that shot of Bella at the fountain in her little yellow cardi. So beautiful. x
ReplyDeleteThey both look so happy. I love Bella's yellow cardigan a little ray of sunshine on a dull day xx
ReplyDeletewhat happy little travelers you have! i love that last shot of sam. such a handsome little fella!
ReplyDeleteI must say I am a teeny bit jealous of the gorgeous place that you live. the mix of colours against stone and wood. beautiful photos. xo
ReplyDeleteYou make Cahors look so romantic. I love destressed and oldness, it's so raw. Love your pics of the children. Can we swap towns
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love France so much! Kids looked like they had a great time. x
ReplyDeleteSo much history and so many wonderful stories to be told in old towns like this one - so envious of your adventures!
ReplyDeleteI adore the photo of the two of them running! She is trying to keep up :)
ReplyDeleteI love France. I have always loved it and spent many happy holidays there as a child. I love your the way your blog brings a bit of France into my boring English living room. Thank you! x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos Andrea... I think we NEED to move to a small village in France! Any old barns for sale near you that we can come and convert? xx
ReplyDeleteFrench buildings are just so beautiful, the shutters, the railings, the colors. Great pictures. We've 2 weeks booked off work this summer, I doubt we'll get too far this year and probably not for the whole time off but a little bit of France could be just perfect.
ReplyDeleteSigh sigh.....
