It was mothers day in France today. Sam made me a gift at school with a poem attached. He's been singing it to me all weekend with actions:
"J'ai des mains pour te toucher
J'ai des bras pour te serrer
Des pieds pour courir vers toi
Pour t'appeler j'ai ma voix
Et puis, j'ai mon coeur encore
Pour t'aimer toujours plus fort"
Awwwwww, too too sweet!!! (disclaimer-my daughter knows french, not I, she translated for me). I bet you are singing that sweet song right now!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet poem. we celebrated both the American and the French on ;0)
ReplyDeleteMy husband said I had to choose but I thought being multicultural I deserved as many mothers day as the countries we lived in.
Bonne fete des meres!
Bonne Fête, Andrea! I got a new bike! How excited am I!!
