Now Bella is in her own bed, she has started coming downstairs on her own in the morning. Quiet as a mouse she sits at the table colouring and drawing. Cutting up playdough and paper and sticking paper to paper to make her own unique creations. On a school day she will put these in her bag and give them to her teacher. On a non-school day she will give them to her daddy, nana and granddad. Occasionally I get one too. She proudly announces she did this "all by myself".

Sam will rather sit taking his transformers apart and working out how to put them together again. He's much more interested in science and mechanics and far too intestested in computer games. As I type he is trying to work out why two opposite magnets won't attach. He's been sat next to me for an hour doing this. And we're so proud of him lately because he has started to read. He can read his Dr Seuss book mostly by himself.

p.s. Bella's top is handmade by Mamma 190 at Etsy. It's the nicest handmade piece of clothing.

  3. And such a gorgeous smile.

I love when they sneak down stairs on tippy toes. I used to worry when things went so, so quiet, but now I know they are just engrossed in one craft project or another.....or a book.
