Lately

Time is whizzing by and Autumn is already upon us. Getting the children dressed and undressed will take twice as long with adding more layers and I have to allow time in the mornings for lighting two fires.

"Isibella" (as she has started calling herself) has a new yellow iron bed which I picked up from the charity shop. Scott wanted to make her one, but work comes first and working 6/7 days week, he hasn't had the time.  He did fit in laying a wooden floor in the lounge. The difference in warmth is incredible. We just have the stone tommets in the dining room now.

Thank you for all the lovely cushion comments. I am busy making more and a few other things I hope to show soon!

  10. As you put the layers on, we are slowly removing them here. It has to be said that for the washing ALONE, Summer is preferable over Winter. All the other stuff is just icing, I reckon. x
