According to Sam these are the "best biscuits ever mummy". I've learnt to set up baking stations for both of them, so they can each complete the process from beginning to end, sans squabbling.
These are made using a basic recipe of :
100g butter softened
100g caster sugar
1 egg
275 plain flour (I used 1/2 self-raising)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cream sugar and butter, add the egg and vanilla and finally the flour. Roll, cut and bake for 10 mins at 190 C. We iced them too when cooled and then ate far too many.
No squabbling is a good ingredient in baking. This recipe seems awesome and really good for adapting to different flavours!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and love the idea of the littlens both having their own baking stations! Definitely need to give these a make, yum :) xo
