| Party time with her friends! |
Early last Friday morning, we heard the pitter patter of tiny feet approaching. The first thing she saw was the bunting (I made the night before!) and exclaimed "for me?" - her little hand on her chest in a dramatic way.
Laid out were 3 small presents in the lounge. Rushing over, she opened each one with genuine surprise and gratitude. She received lovely presents from friends and family later, but if I was asked to remember one part of her 3rd birthday, it would be these 10 minutes.
Because, she didn't expect anything at all. To see her family and friends was enough and her presents were an appreciated bonus. And that really sums Bella up.
