Everybody out it's stopped raining!

We had a good half an hour outside before there was a loud crack of thunder and another heavy shower. A quick trip around the garden to witness what had changed. The apple blossoms are out, the tomatoes are struggling with these low temperatures even in the green house and the wisteria is creeping across the house. Spring is trying to make an appearance!

Where we are

This is where you'll find us most days. It's been praying on my mind lately as someone asked me recently where have I been, why don't I go out much? When I replied that we're mostly at home, she looked at me as if I was crazy and that was pretty much the end of the conversation. I went away feeling a little down. But, our home is where we work, play and live. The children are happy exploring our 1 acre garden, the fruit garden across the road and the field with the pond. We're extremely lucky to have all this and extremely happy to be here :)

In and out

This week with the sun shining and the children running in and out  -there hasn't been much time to update here. It didn't help either with being ill in bed for 2 days (thank you nana and grandad for coming to help!). Although, it is difficult to take photos in focus of them, it is lovely to see them running about and getting a little muddy and lots of fresh air.
