A walk for the head

I love looking out over the rooftops with a cup of tea

Sometimes I wander around the house in circles, not knowing quite what to do first and getting a little overwhelmed with the amount of things I need to do or want to do. My solution is to go for a walk around the village to clear my head. On dry days I love exploring the tracks which run through the woods and between fields. Showing little things like wild flowers and birds to Bella who squeals with excitement! "oh yessss!" Sam prefers finding the largest stone he can fit into his pocket. When Scott or I show him something like mushrooms or flowers, he says "yes, I know that"  - he doesn't know, but this is his latest saying in addition to "I'm the winner". He does remember though. Scott was telling him about kingfishers a while ago and just the other day he saw one on the TV and told us how they eat fish. I think he'll be teaching me a thing or two soon.

I love this time of year :)
