Canvas art

Paints are pretty much a permanent fixture at our dining table (actually on the table too). For a change to paper, I bought canvas to try. Sam usually struggles with what to paint or draw, so I introduced him to some Kline and Miró for inspiration which did the trick.

We're settling into Scott's parents house down the road. It took a few days for the children, especially Bella to sleep through the night, but other than that, they're very happy....and warm!

Sam has started tennis lessons at school which he loves. He reminded me of a mini footballer warming up around the court. He loves to be inside usually, so spending an hour outdoors getting some excercise did him the world of good.

Bella's artwork just gets better. I love the dragon she painted. Definately one for framing.

And thank you to my lovely friend Catherine for sending me yellow tights! And my mum for the boots :)

Doodling on the moon

More (unintentional) photos including the green chalk wall. I printed a moon from Mr Printables for the children to doodle on. They loved this, especially Bella who sat there for a good 30 minutes. Sam doesn't seem to draw much anymore. It's a shame because I love his drawings. I may need to bribe him! Bella recently started to draw faces which she calls "mr potato head". You can see them on the picture line above her head.
