One little boy and his dog

We saved Patch from the animal rescue centre about 9 years ago now. He had been badly treated by his previous owner and had no confidence whatsoever. He slowly started to trust us and settled into our household. It is true though, that since having 2 children, the dogs (Patch and Honey) don't get as much of the attention they once had. But, this problem has been rectified! Whilst Honey the sheepdog does never ending laps around the 1 acre garden (so she's happy), Sam and Patch have well and truly bonded. He won't even sleep without Patch rooted to the bottom of the bed. And, the feeling is mutual.

  3. I have one dog- My dog was not a rescue dog but he was a dog we rescued- A friend was going through a very bad divorce and had to move to a place that would not allow dogs- so we took him.

  4. When I read your title it reminded me that when my (now 23-year-old) son was little, we would always ask the dog, "Where is your boy?" Beautiful pictures... thanks for providing the chuckle.

  5. That first picture is so sweet! And I love that your dogs are such great buds. They really are pack animals. I bet they are both so grateful for each other. :)
