My creative space...

I'm still working on my rug. I've very nearly finished. Just a little more braiding to do for now. I would like it to be bigger, but to be honest It's becoming a bit monotonous. So I'll have a break and come back to it in a few weeks. I've been staring at my sewing machine and a heap of vintage fabrics trying to decide what to make next. It will definitely be a pattern out of the Lotta Jansdotter's book for the children (I found some vintage boys fabric for once!) and for me a pattern from my new Cath Kidston book. I bought Sam little paint rollers with patterns cut out of them, so he's been merrily rolling away and hanging his artwork up on his display line.

And some cushions made from vintage woolen blankets for my shop :)

More lovely spaces here.

  5. Love the second photo with the hanging start. That rug will be great once finished, but I understand the need to break from your craft once in a while! Have a great weekend!
