It's all so quiet

It's very quiet here today. Sam and Bella are ill with very nasty tummy bugs. Sam is glued to the sofa and Bella who normally doesn't stop eating is wondering what on earth is going on. She is sat on the rug with 2 cushions for comfort. They have hardly spoken 2 words. Usually, they don't stop talking. I would normally enjoy a little quiet but in this instance, all I wish for is for their lively little selves to be back to normal. Hopefully, they will be better for Sam's 4th birthday celebrations on Sunday.

  3. Poor kids! Wish I could send them some get well flowers. Or perhaps they'd prefer some get well books/toys/stickers/ice cream??? But I agree, these ARE very nice photos.

  4. I tell you I've offered Sam (who has it the worst) everything and the only thing he would eat was spaghetti because Peppa pig was eating it!

  7. Oh poor little ones! It is so hard when they are sick. Kids have an amazing knack of recovering pretty quickly though, so I am just betting that all will be perfect by Sunday!

Hope they are all better soon Andrea.

P.S. All of these photographs are wonderful, but I especially love the last one. wonderful simplicity and some of my favorite flowers!

  8. The words of that Bjork song just popped into my head....although i think the only relevance is 'It's oh so quiet'.

I hope your little people start to feel better. It's awful when they are off colour....when they are not themselves.

On the bright side, I'm sure when they grow, they will remember those quiet nurturing 'getting better' days, with cushions and blankets and tv's and hot drinks... I definately remember - if not the exact days, then just the general feeling of them.
