Bella picks most of the flowers in the garden. I wish she would pick the dead heads instead. Yesterday, she picked pansy flowers and said "give to daddy" and practically ran in the house to find Scott. She loves to pick unripe strawberries too. Never mind :)
Thanks for the laugh. My 17 month old loves to garden too. She has pulled all the chillis off the chilli plant, and removed the heads of the geraniums - the only flowers we had in the garden at the moment as it is winter here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful garden you have. The dead heads arent nearly as pretty as the fresh blooms, I understand why Bella likes them the most xo
ReplyDeleteLittle darling. The light in the photographs is SOOO beautiful! x
ReplyDeletehow does she keep getting cuter? that must be why the flower picking is allowed to go on...
ReplyDeleteI think your Bella and my Edie would be great friends - although something tells me our gardens would end up looking pretty bare. Edie LOVES picking flowers, even gives them to random people in the street.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to teach her to pick the weeds ... but she is on to me!
And I bet daddy's heart melts too. She is gorgeous x
ReplyDeleteYou have such gorgeous children. They must love having all that fresh air and space - thriving. I remember make mud pies on plates and decorating them with daisy flower heads around the edge and leaves. I used to line them up on the wall of the patio and sit and wait for my daddy to come from work. When he did he used to 'eat' them. I must have been about 3. lou x
ReplyDeleteyou gave her the perfect name andrea. now i'm off to bed (your just getting up!) i'll be back tomorrow to see those two roll around in the grass and make a coherent comment. nighty!
