Going to La Pâtisserie is our Saturday treat. Here, they make the best cakes I've ever tasted. I usually have a
religieuse chocolat which is 2 profiteroles on top of each other (!) filled with chocolate and Scott has a mille-feuille, which is kind of like a wonderful vanilla slice and caramelised on the top. Not great for the figure but a nice treat at the end of a week.
I want to live with you!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love both of those cakes :) I don't know if they exist in other parts of the world, but I missed them when I was abroad..
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to beat French pastries, ain't it? :)
ReplyDeleteOooo, so glad I don't live close by here. I would be there every day!!
ReplyDeletesuch wonderful photographs of Sam and Bella, Andrea, and I absolutely love the way you composed the first photograph. Really beautiful.
I love the last photo it's seems a landscape fairy tale!
ReplyDeleteOooo, a weekly treat what a nice idea and of course nothing better when in France!
ReplyDeleteYou are so good to only go once a week - something tells me I would be there every day - delish!!
ReplyDeleteI want to live your life for a while. Every time I see your photos and hear your stories it reminds me of wonderful trips I took to Europe with my parents. I remember walking at least a mile down the long road to get bread each morning and then walking it back uphill after.
