La Pâtisserie

Going to La Pâtisserie is our Saturday treat. Here, they make the best cakes I've ever tasted. I usually have a religieuse chocolat which is 2 profiteroles on top of each other (!) filled with chocolate and Scott has a mille-feuille, which is kind of like a wonderful vanilla slice and caramelised on the top. Not great for the figure but a nice treat at the end of a week.

  1. I love both of those cakes :) I don't know if they exist in other parts of the world, but I missed them when I was abroad..

  7. I want to live your life for a while. Every time I see your photos and hear your stories it reminds me of wonderful trips I took to Europe with my parents. I remember walking at least a mile down the long road to get bread each morning and then walking it back uphill after.
