On the journey home from school I stopped to take a few photos of the never ending fields of yellow rape flowers. Glorious! And we had to stop to say "allo babies" to the lambs too, though the mamas weren't too pleased.
Such a beautiful journey to school. I'm sure it would take me twice as long to get their for I would have to stop along the way to enjoy all of this nature. xx
You are kidding me! That is your school run?? Can we swap please. Mine consists of a busy road, a derelict petrol station, hoards of teenagers from the local secondary school, dog poo...yep, that's about it.
It always looks so beautiful where you live, it makes me want to come to France! Such a lovely schoolrun, I bet it feels a whole lot different from living in a busy city and taking the bus.
oooh andrea! i've been away from here too long. i just caught up. my oh my.. the rape seed flowers are some of my favorite from a trip we took to germany many springs ago before my grandfather died. we went to an amazing countryside hotel called "neumuehle" and there were fields of "rapps." we learned about this plant that trip and rode our bikes along these fields. we were singing at the tops of our lungs just feeling glorious and probably looking like idiots. but, i love that you live by fields like this. i would like to live your life.
