Yellow

Bella's favourite game is playing shop. She stands behind her 'counter' with all her goods and waits for customers. This instance my mum "nana boat" .

I realised in many of my photos there is something yellow. A vintage teapot, yellow chair, yellow tights and yellow crocuses. I think I might like yellow.

In the grass

I sat in the grass for five minutes to watch the children play, dogs bound about and the chickens follow anyone walking. It was before I cut the grass and all the hundreds of daisies down.

The top photo was taken at the lake, where someone had left daisy and buttercup chains on the fence. Beautiful!

School run

On the journey home from school I stopped to take a few photos of the never ending fields of yellow rape flowers. Glorious! And we had to stop to say "allo babies" to the lambs too, though the mamas weren't too pleased.

Bits from last week

Here are a few (quite a few!) photos from last week, before I file them away in my flickr filing cabinet.

:: Bella playing hide and seek with grandad and wearing bling from nana.
:: Using an old jumper of Bella's to sew onto a dress I bought from the charity shop.
:: Bella reading my book in her bedroom.
:: Sam took a photo of his doudou.
:: Lots of sewing.
:: My 3 euros rug/mat from the secondhand shop.
:: Bella keeping warm next to the fire on a rather chilly day.
:: Yellow cardi and blue chair - just because :)
:: Joanne Harris' cook book. We've been making most our meals from here this week.
:: Bella playing with chalk and water and she's wearing another re-cycled top - the sleeves are from Sam's old t-shirt.
:: Vintage fisher price sandals from here.
:: A view from the garden.
phew, time for a cuppa!
